You can also drive through the loading zone and then do a loop and come back until your party is there. This is what I usually do.
there's load/drop zone. you can stop and drop/load people quickly. when it's busy there, you would have only about a minute or two. airport security would force you to move if you do not move. There is a paid parking structure also.
