Picked up a couple cutely-named Meowlers filled with kombuchas on tap. All of the flavors are so refreshing and light. This trip we got a Rose Lemonade and a Triple Berry. Mmmmm

Had my boyfriend go in person to pick up a Kombucha Home-Brew starter kit on a Friday, since I work Wed-Sunday. He was told that it needed to be pre-ordered or ordered online and would arrive Tuesday... so I ordered it well before they closed on Friday to be sure that I would get it and not have to worry about weird weekend hiccups. Well, it finally came today, Thursday. Biggest concern is if the scoby was sitting out in the heat somewhere for the extra days of God knows what it was doing when I paid $9 for ‘priority one day shipping’. It’s even on the postage label marked for Saturday, PM. Kit overall is very neat and well put together. Includes everything you need to start other than pH dipsticks/gauge. Scoby was small and thin, broken apart, but did come with plenty of starter liquid. Smells okay and hopeful, but again there is no saying if there was heat damage (part of why I wanted to just have it picked up in person). Ultimately, can order a scoby that is healthier and larger than the 3.5 inch diam. one I received pretty much anywhere online, but wanted to help and show support for a local place during a difficult time and I was left a little disappointed. Would just recommend revising the website to let people know that it is not a walk-in purchase as you would expect. Maybe label the package that it is heat sensitive or ‘keep cool’. I’ll keep in touch with how this guy grows, I hope it was just a fluke and just a quality control kind of thing. Hopefully get to step into the shop one of these days if I get a random weekend off. 😊

Had the ginger Kombucha, and by far it's the best ginger Kombucha I've ever had, smooth,not overly spicy like they usually are. The right amount of sweetness ,very good!
