Seeing a bear is quite rare. There are no wolves in Southern California. Make decisions based on logic and sound rationale rather than irrational fear.

Mountian lions have been spotted recently in the area. They do on occasion attack small children. There is more risk of getting killed in car crash on way there.

Wildlife stays clear of All the people going up-and-down the trail bears and coyotes. Early am may say some deer and at dusk the same.

Bears are there but rare! They're quite skittish. No wolves but there are coyotes, though primarily heard and not seen.

Bears are in the woods and so are mountain lions, but as Patrick has said, very, very, rare to see. There are way more people then them, so don't be afraid. It's beutiful up there.♠️.
