Open 6a and dogs on leash allowed
It opens up at 10 am. But if you want a challenge take the Y to the right. My 12 year old has been doing it since she was 9
No time limit! Just be wary of the bees they keep sometimes (summer months I believe) up near the summit.
It really does not have a time limit. Park rangers patrol between 0700-1400. I start my climb around 5am. Also dogs are always welcome. keep them latched though, others climbers bring their dogs too. If it's your first time going up. Make a left at the Y intersection to summit potato mountain. Going to the right leads you to the clairmont trails.
Dogs are allowed. As for the times, I'm not too sure. Generally, I believe it is sunrise to sunset.
