Use the hop on hop off busses. Park in one of the small towns outside of Boston, take the train and use public transportation.
The Freedom Trail is designed for walking. Best to use public transportation to get downtown if at all possible. The nearest public lots to the Revere House are at the intersection of Fleet and Atlantic.
We found a parking garage on Dalton St and Scotia St, I believe called Hynes Auditorium Garage, amd walked to the Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop as we had tickets for that. I am sure there are probably other parking garages elseware you could do the same. Not sure where to point you though if youre not planning on doing the hop-on hop-off.
If your doing the freedom trail i suggest using a Parking garage. It wasn't that expensive and we didn't have to worry about street parking.
Haymarket is close ( about 3-4 blocks)
There's a few paid parking lots around the area.
Park at one of the T stations
