There's alligators in here , I heard that people have been known to see a few smaller ones, but only concern would be if you purposely tried to run up on one because you want a picture or just a close view. There are just as scared as you are of them, but corner one and they will definitely defend themselves.
The lady who runs the business told me that gators don't like this river because the banks are so high that it's difficult for them to exit the water. I didn't see any when I was there just a few water fowl
There are alligators in our waters. They are beautiful in their natural habitat, don't paddle up to them just paddle on by them.
