Very friendly environment. The river was low, but our family still enjoyed it. Would visit again.

Renting kayaks here was a lovely experience. The fee was very affordable to rent a canoe and there was no time limit on how long we could stay out on the river (as long as we got back before dark). This part of the river was not busy at all and was very relaxing and beautiful. We also enjoyed that the kayak rental place had very sweet cats running around that wanted to get some pets from the customers. We will be sure to come back in the future :)

This place is AWESOME! 🤩 Nicest and knowledgeable lady who runs it is amazing! She truly finds her joy in helping folks fall in love with canoeing 🛶 and the Alifia River! The canoe trip is yours for the length or direction. No time limit, no map 🗺. Just get in and paddle! 🙌🏼😊 Found sharks 🦈 teeth on a little beach spot, saw beautiful scenery and a gator 🐊 or 2. Our journey took us through some super fun obstacles and we met some really awesome people! 💯 Can’t beat the price either! 💵 Highly recommend taking the time to experience this adventure! 🙃👍🏼

They provide life jackets, seat cushions and paddles with your rental.
It is 15 for the kayak rental per kayak. You can go whichever direction you want, though I find going upstream first is the best way to go about it so you can have a nice ride back down.
No they do not offer tour guides, this a canoe or kayak at your own risk for $25.00 from 9:00 till sundown
They don’t do pick-up anymore, so you will have to organize a ride back yourself. ;)
Def bring your own for the baby adults will be good
I don't think she would charge you but there may be a small lauch fee. We park there and drive back to 39 to kayak down and she doesn't charge to park but we always give her a donation as she is running a business.
They have a dock that you can use, no need to take it anywhere. We went upstream as there is no shuttle service back, going downstream. Know that there are some tiny rapids and shoals that may present a little challenge. :) Also, they mostly rent canoes, very limited supply of kayaks. Best to call ahead.
She's not real strict about anything. My kid is sixteen and she didn't ask.
Yes. I was there a few weeks ago
Yes
Yes
I think it's $35 a piece
I belive its still shutdown from the flood we recently had here
Just show up
She's very good at answering unless away from phone. Its her personal so she might be doing a drop off.
Its not 25dollars to rent a canoe...its 40...and cash only
There's alligators in here , I heard that people have been known to see a few smaller ones, but only concern would be if you purposely tried to run up on one because you want a picture or just a close view. There are just as scared as you are of them, but corner one and they will definitely defend themselves.
They rent aluminum canoe (25$) and also plastic kayak (15$) to be used the whole day.
Yeah, if the van is gone then she is probably out picking up some folks that left earlier. She is a really sweet lady, but does everything herself.
You can bring whatever your heart desires! This operation is run by a nice ol lady who is very friendly and doesnt nose around your stuff. Have fun, the river is ussually pretty slow so be ready to paddle.
$25 if you do not need transportation up river, $39.99 if you do
Sorta. They take you upstream, drop you off, then you paddle back using the current to help you. Paddling upstream can be done, but it's hard unless you have a lot of experience. And darn near impossible if there has been a lot of rain.
They charge a fee but you can take your own boat
