Sod X has amazing customer service. I contacted Sod X because I had an issue with the sod that was installed. Rico called me back right away! He assessed the situation and remedied the issue. I waited several weeks. Before doing the review to see how it would do. We followed the detailed SOD-X instructions. We have mowed it once on a high setting per instructions. So we would not stress the newly planted roots. The team came early worked diligently. We have four dogs so we got the Saint Augustine which holds up well for having pets. When they delivered the grass on the truck it was very healthy beautiful I did not look dead it was green this company has standards. Some of the reviews mentioned rust and so forth I think that instead of giving them a one star they should have called sod X and ask them to replace it giving them a chance to make it right one star is really hurt business. They came with their own dirt. They pulled up all old grass, leveled out the ground with soil they brought in sprinkled some fertilizer down to help the roots take. Then laid the sod and then use a roller to go over the side to make it flatten out I don’t think you can get any better than that.
