Idk...I went for the sole purpose of rescuing a 7yr Male shar pei who was surrendered by his owners. He was is such poor physical shape but fantastic mental health. My daughters and I have spent an obscene amount of money to have his eyes corrected and bring him up to a healthy weight, (40#) when we got him, 55# now. The personnel are caring and love but the vet staff is comprised of cold hearted individuals who shouldn't even tend to house plants
