Nice place for a short outing. Also great place to volunteer if you don't mind a little work.

The White Point Nature Education Center is closed, but the trails are open. Strollers can be used for the Grassland Loop Trail, and even the Vista Trail up to the WWII gun emplacements, though it is a steep incline. We ended up taking some inner trail down, and this was narrow and very steep. I will be back to learn more of the trails, and take in the great views.

Beautiful day on the trails. Word for the wise, if your dog has long fur, foxtails will be a problem.

Small but size doesn't matter, you can walk the trails in endless different configurations. The views are amazing and worth the leg heavy climbs. The flora and fauna are very interesting.

It's called the Marine Mammal Center- it's on Gaffey Street. You'll see signs as you travel south. It's next to the Korean Bell. If you Google the Korean Bell for directions you can't miss it.
It's very small. I don't think there is much to buy.. thats somthing the city should look into. They can make an extra few bucks to help support the park... books..shirts .stickers..post cards...
Perfect place for picnic, shaded area there are tables, clean restrooms but closed at 3pm. There's always parking..
Yes, on a leash
