Perfect place for picnic, shaded area there are tables, clean restrooms but closed at 3pm. There's always parking..
I have little ones. Sometimes there are bees by the tables and big pepper tress. We like to bring a blanket and eat right outside the center. There is one good spot for shade. Sometimes there are tables set up in the center and I'm sure you could eat in there too.
Yes there are picnic tables and across street at royal palms recreation beach area
There is a large picnic area, just down the steps from the visitors' center
Their is a bench near the top.you can lay a blanket down on the gun tunnel area and enjoy the view
