Although we arrived at the last minute, Tennessee was kind enough to add us to her last tour group. And what a great tour! She is a fount of information, and her passion for history and all things California is apparent. I highly recommend!!!

Came here specifically to see the lighthouse, but as it was Easter Sunday, it was closed for tours. The grounds are gorgeous and the views of the ocean were pretty spectacular. Wish we could have seen inside. Of note, the surrounding park is cool as well and there were a lot of families there that day but its obvious that there is a homeless population that use the park. Picnic area tables need a good power wash as they smell of pee. There is also a really funny but mischievous squirrel population that walk right up to see if you'll feed them (beware if the littles like to give them snacks, it could be problem). Overall, a lovely place to visit during day hours.

I loved visiting the lighthouse. The park has a really nice vibe, lots of families hanging out and picnicking. The park (where the lighthouse is located) features parking, picnic tables, grassy areas, grandstand, restrooms, playground . . . Oh, and amazing ocean views

Lots of spaces to set up your blanket and do a picnic. They also have semi-enclosed places with one table overlooking the water. It is nice and calm. Lots of beautiful views.
