Ive found a baby bird with feathers but missing some near its tail, the tail is like a stub..this is the second time it fell and i dont know what to do. There is no parent in sight

Please call WCA's hotline at 916-965-9453 (965-wild) or bring the bird to 5211 Patrol Road in McClellan off Hwy 80 at Winters. Feathers do grow back, but it can take time.
