Renewals for passports is self serve. You do not need to see a passport clerk for it. Just fill out the blue renewal application in BLACK ink only. You need a check or money order for the application and 1 picture(they take them there if you need it, $15). The passport book is currently $110 and the passport card is $30 and bring your old passport book/card.
First you need money, two passport pictures, fill the form and then wait for mailman. The near post office can do that for you.
