My mom wanted to get a estimate on some coins that were left to her. As we walked into the shop we were greeted by a group of friendly people and guided to Lionel. He asked how he could help. That man looked at every single coin as if he was going to find a coin with a flaw. He answered every single question. And the atmosphere in that shop was great. The friendly guys in front talked about everything just like walking into a old fashioned barber shop. And we were given a very fair price on the coins. Most certainly we will be back.

I purchased gold back in 2017 and now made a fantastic profit!!! Best investment I have ever made. The staff is so helpful and helped me sell old coins I had. They have a broad selection of coins to purchase. I highly recommend this store.

After an exhaustive search of Silver eagles online, Lionel was able to beat even the online dealers on price. I'm very familiar with the prices online but Lionel was able to make me a great offer on eagles that I couldn't say no. About a month ago I had come into his shop to get pricing on some of my silver and he took his time to explain all the value contained in my collection. He understood that I was a serious stacker and he made me realize that he was a serious and astute coin dealer. A few weeks after that I made one of my second biggest purchases from him. US 🇺🇸 Eagles.

I had a GREAT experience with Lionel at S.Cal Coin and Stamp . He was able to help me submit two ancient coins to NGC for grading . A successful transaction was completed and my new graded coins arrived without a hitch . It took a while for my return and I knew my coins were safe and in good hands . I will keep returning to his business for his help since he has a tremendous amount of knowledge and doesn’t mind sharing his time . Thanks again . Cheers .

Chris is correct, however grade is everything. If the coin is in circulated grade it's only worth its silver value. Make sure not to make the mistake of cleaning the coin. It destroys its value.
I have some coins that look different from the others you can take them here and they would telll you if they are rare
Can you repeat the question Ady? Are you asking if they buy old coins?
Hi Angel, Thanks for the inquiry. If you can come into our office , we will be able to appraise your coins and discuss your best options. Happy Holidays Lionel ph 562 927-4014 10-6 m/f 10-4 s
Oh yeah! Head on in and and ask for Lionel.
Yes they should be worth cash Good Luck
The coins are worthless. Southern California Coins will give free appraisals. Don't expect them to be worth more than face value.
It is a good place to get an appraisal but like most places he might charge you. For sale the same thing he's honest and gives you a fair price. Just remember when you take it to a coin shop meaning whatever you want to sell, he's going to knock off 20% so he can make his share.
Yes they do! At a fair price too.
Yes they do... Just walk-in and ask.
2003 is a difficult year it was before the economic meltdown so it would be a good one to keep into your collection. Head down to Southern California coin and stamp sea Lionel and he will help you with many more coins.
Lionel is a good guy, someone you can trust. He's fair and knows coins.
Hello Angelica - if you can come by the shop we would love to see your item. Thank you for your inquiry, Lionel Pereira

Serious I couldn't answer. Just go to the shop. But if you look on the internet you won't get that price.
If its worth something I believe they will buy, also if its not that much they may tell you to hold on to it. They were very nice people. You can tell they have been there a long time.
Best bet would be to go to PCGS.com and check out the Buffalo Nickel link and it'll give you an idea of prices by date and mint mark. There's a wealth of information on the website about all U.S. coins. Good luck! 👍🍻
Take it to Lionel over at SCCS. He'll help you out.
call them, so U don't waste time, if it real, they will want to see it
Yes they do
Go to the store and show, if they aren't busy. Staff is polite but arrogant, very easy gets upset at the client. And check everything few times, known to jeep people off...
Your cent is worth one cent. Common everyday pocket change.
It's worth 25 cents.
Unless it's uncirculated or very close to it, it's only worth 5 or 10 cents at most.
Probably better to send this off to one of the professional coin appraisers to get slabbed. They will only go off numbers you can research online.
Go inside and find out
If it's regular common wheat penny, not much 15 cents to $5
They would be able to help you out easily. Very knowledgeable
Why would you tell someone it might be valuable? It's obviously a bicentennial quarter 1776-1976 not 1779-1979. Years ago there was a company that would pay about 45 cents each for them. They are certainly not worth much more than that now, unless high MS or proof.
Thank you for your inquiry . We will be happy to assist you with evaluating your coins . Please drop by the office . Opens m-sat 10:00 - closes 4:00 .
I have 1969 penny & 1965 dime it’s worth any money..??
You can have them appraised there!
One of the best places to buy and sell rare coins and collectibles in Southern California.
I would take it to them ... their very honest people....They will show the market value in writing...😁
Don't know much about stamps. But Steve at So.cal coin and stamp can help you out with that no problem.
Southern California coin & stamps. If you are in l.a. they are really helpful and honest
The pens on the condition
Not without seeing it and being able to judge it's condition. I would take it to Lionel at southern California coin and stamp and he will give you a professional opinion of your coin. But as far as I know the first silver dollar was made in 1794. So I'm not sure about that coin. Maybe it's something that I've never heard of. Lionel is the pro.
Hi Stacey, We would be glad to give prices for your coins . If you can bring them to our store we will be able to appraise your coins and explain there values. Thanks Lionel Ph 562 927-4014 m-f 10-6 Sat 10-4
If you call the store they will give it to you.
Depends on the condition of the coin and the which mint it was struck. The Denver mint struck is the more valuable of the two.
Do i have to come to show you the quarter?
Depending on the errors and the condition of the coin. The fact that it has no silver keeps the price down
Depends on the mint that the coin was struck and what condition it is in.
Oh yeah. Head over to southern California coin and stamp asked for Lionel.
That is what they call a steel cent. They are valuable if they are in mint state condition. They cannot be cleaned or altered in any way.
It depends on which Kennedy it is. Accented hair no accented hair. What grade its in also.
I'm assuming it's a 1936 p. In mint State condition they start at $14 and can go up to thousands in Ms 66 and up. The cents are not worth much unless they are special mint set pennies in really high grade condition.
Depending on its color and it's grade. If it's red and ms. 65 it could be worth 300+
Hello Jessica, The War Nickel described has a value of approximately $1.00 . However there are some overdate varieties in the “p” mint issue. Check for the 3/2 date and the double eye . Thanks for the inquiry and happy collecting , Lionel
I have no idea about what you have or its value,I only deal with them for my needs.
I would go to Facebook and friend my friend Christopher Aabel as he owns a company called coin happy and is without a doubt one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met when it comes to coins and currency and he has made me a lot of money in American coins and ancient coins so that would be my best suggestion as he is knowledgeable and honest
Hello Mr. Carlos Ramirez, Thank you for the inquiry . The series you are mentioning with the regular size Franklin on the front of this note ended approximately in 1993 . These notes did not have watermarks . The watermark series started in 1996 with the large Franklin head . Take care and have fun collecting , Lionel Pereira
Yes if they are in good condition.
I would go somewhere else master sensey I have a penny from 1916 and they offered me 30 Cents master Sensey.
1964 quarters contain 6.25 grams of 90% silver. There are 31.10348 grams of precious metals in an ounce so they have approximately, .3617 of an ounce of pure silver if they are uncirculated. If circulated the weight may go down. Typically dealers discount the silver by 85 cents an ounce. As such, if silver is trading for $17.00 an ounce, and you deduct $.85, a dealer will probably pay more than $2.92 for your quarter. Remember they have overhead and need to make a profit to keep their doors open.
Take it in there! The people are so honest!
This is a 40% silver coin. The U.S. mint in San Francisco made them in proof sets which would have an S mint mark. They were also only made for mint sets at the Denver mint. None were made for circulation. PCGS value guide (www.pcgs.com) show values that range from $5.00 up. The melt value of the silver is $2.28. I have found that Southern California Stamp & Coins are fair and honest and a pleasure thilo deal with. They even give free appraisals.
I've got $5.00 for it,kidding..I am sure they would be,
Yes
I have my grandfather stamp collection and would like to sell. It's fairly large
Only if it is an actual signature, not a facsimile signature
Yes they may you can call them to make sure though
The coin will have its date, denomination and weight on it. The condition will play a role in its value. Most are based on bullion. Kitco.com posts up to date prices of precious metals. Southern California Stamp and Coins will value it for free. They're reputable and give no pressure.
Yes
It depends on the condition of the coin. So take it in to get it checked out.
Take it in... There are different values of "good shape."
