Chris is correct, however grade is everything. If the coin is in circulated grade it's only worth its silver value. Make sure not to make the mistake of cleaning the coin. It destroys its value.

Just passing by and I see people asking for a value on a single coin, try googling "usacoinbook" it list all USA COINS and their value according to grading.

I have silver coin .999 year 1974 how much value?

Southern California Coin & Stamps | Aug 24, 2020

Thank you for your question. The 1927 Dime in circulated condition starts at silver value and as Chris has mentioned can be quite valuable In higher grades. On a personal level it could be more valuable than market values because it an family heirloom .

If it's a 1927 d. In AU-50 condition it is worth a hundred bucks. When you get into Ms 60 it goes up to 200 and can go as high as twelve hundred in Ms 65. Just remember every coin shop is going to take off 15%. If it's a 1927 p not worth quite as much. If you get a 27 s, it can be worth 275 bucks in Ms 63.
