Alsea Falls campground is closed. The falls are open, but the campground is closed. The last weekend open was two weeks ago.
It doesn't show that they are "Reserved" nor held for "First come first serve". Just says "Not Available". I am wondering if the campground is closed?
Go to Alsea and see if the campsites that are never reserved are taken. The best times to nab a campsite is in Sunday about noon, or even monday. But by friday, you might get lucky, or not. Thursdays is when they fill up for the weekend.
There is a caretaker/ranger on premise. If the light is on go ask him. I guess they were booked for the week.
