This is a beautiful campground that requires only that you register online and get a permit for up to 7 days. Sites have picnic tables and fire rings or raised BBQ s. There is nonpotable water available throughout at spigots and a horse trough. There is also a single vault toilet. Entry requires a lock code that is received with a reservation confirmation. From the road and locked gate, it is about 1 miles of dirt road to the camping area. Depending on weather and time of year, this road ranges from good to poor (requires slowly driving and dodging pot holes) and is cleared of trees and brush so any size rig can easily pass. Once at the campsites, the ground throughout is very level and easy for tents and RVs to set up. Larger RVs need to take care and watch for low limbs on some of the huge oak trees. Most of the sites are in the shade, but some sunny areas can accommodate solar panels. Beautiful trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. There is no camphost, garbage recepticles, electric, sewer hook ups or dump station. Very quiet and peaceful. We stayed here a couple of different times for a week each time in a 31 ft. class c motor home and would not hesitate to go back.

Beautiful free spot with lots of trails and two cool clear lakes down a dirt road if you like fishing/kayaking! Ground stays wet for a while when it rains, but not too squishy. Got fairly busy but everyone kept to themselves. No hookups here, or even marked spots. There is a vault toilet but it was gross and someone had dumped their trash in the bathroom.

Yes. Stayed here a few weeks ago. As per the reservation, "Dogs are permitted in the campground and must be on a leash at all times. Owners are responsible for picking up after their dogs."
