A very affordable campground off the beaten path. Great little private campsites in the pines. There are vault toilets and water available. A Very short walk to the falls.

Very nice place. You can avoid other campers if you want. There's a bathroom on sight, but there was no water when we went. There's a nice small creek and plenty of little animals running around.

A beautiful campground! Amazing old growth forest and shallow creek runs alongside the campground. Pleasant people in camp, respectful and kept to themselves. Nice clean pit toilets stocked with toilet paper and no smell. Off the grid, no cell phone service or signal, no electrical hookups no huge RV's allowed. No cutting down trees allowed but you can buy firewood from the bins on the honor system. Great place to unwind and enjoy the scenery!

Nice little spot to lay the head for a night or two... Not too much to explore around here with all the private timber land, but for a day maybe two kinda worth the trip... Especially if you bring your sweet bikes π€ΈββοΈπ π€ΈββοΈπ»π°

Yes its currently open. But its reservations only by phone or online. And it does fill up pretty quickly
No fire restrictions went into place aug 13th unfortunately
I really liked camp site #16 it is on the larger side but no more tham 50ft from the river. The other sites next to it are also right by the river.
There is a river at the campground that you can swim in.
No fish. Too many people
Recreation.gov, search for alsea falls.
I had enough room for my car which is a Honda civic. Probably could fit 2 small cars or one big truck.
The Alsea Falls Recreation Site is open May 1 through September. I'm not sure if the day use is accessible either this time of year which is where the falls are. Check this link: https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/255205
Alsea Falls campground is closed. The falls are open, but the campground is closed. The last weekend open was two weeks ago.
The host was selling wood over Memorial Day weekend.

I saw online reservation.gov where u can only have 2 tents. Check campsite description before purchasing your ticket
Wading is more like it, i jave a spot but the traverse is horrible.
It can get pretty crowded during peak hours, but its still a very beautiful waterfall. You should see it at least once. Its a Lane county park so the normal day use fees apply
