There were people grilling out when I was there last. Everything is open except the lighthouse itself. Bring something to keep the raccoons busy! They follow you around like cats!
Iight house is closed was there yesterday, there are plenty of pavilions in the park, I don't recall seeing grills
The website mentions picnics, and rentable pavilions and electric hookups, it is not clear if BBQing is permitted or not. There is a commercial food area there as well.
