This park is a little drive off U.S. Hwy 1, Biscayne Blvd, Miami but sure is worth the drive! Beautiful beaches and of course the Lighthouse. There is some wildlife. Get there early to get a glorious view of Miami and the surrounding landscape. There's a small cafe for dining. Check it all out!!

Awesome!! Best beaches in a regional park. Showers and restrooms. Parking. There's also a Café and a pretty good restaurant. And climbing the 110 stairs up to the top of the lighthouse: Priceless!

We weren't able to walk all the paths but for the little we were able to see and do, it is well worth a 2 dollar per pedestrian entry. Beaches here are some of the best in this area! The old light house is well taken care of and the light house cafe was small but friendly with some basic lunch fare such as sandwiches and salads. The black bean soup is my recommendation.

Beautiful park, close to Miami. You can enjoy walking or cycling here. Bicycles can be rented in the park. The beaches are beautiful. On the beach you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas for a relatively low price. It is cheaper here than on the other beaches near Miami. The beach is flanked by an iconic lighthouse.
The Light House Tower is Open - Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 2 p.m. During tours.
If volunteers are available, they may extend the visiting hours.
Hello and Congratulations 🎊 Arrive as early as possible. No balloons or piñatas allowed. They have strict policy in order to protect the wildlife. If parking gets full, they will close the park so make sure you tell your guests too.
No, the main beach access point was not available due to crowding. The other launch was a very far walk from the parking lot (although doable with a paddle board). Also, the Bay of Biscayne side can be rough due to boating traffic, and not very suitable for paddle boarding.
I have questions about the trails. Which is the best, and should I come prepared and are the trails huge? Which is the biggest. And what animals are there. Is the trails safe? And are they available atm?

The park has grills in set places that can be used to cook, but no one is allowed to build their own campfire. They allow camping for some groups such as boy scouts. If you have an organized group that wants to camp there then you need to contact the ranger's office.
the Park is open from sun up to sun down, but if you're already inside the park at one of the restaurants you're going to be able to stay until they close, which is typically an hour after sundown.
The website says that the grounds are open seven days a week 9-5. If you are asking if you can go into the lighthouse, it's only open during tour times (10 & 1 Thursday through Monday).
$50 plus tax, a day for one with 6 tables seats 40 people, $100/ plus tax, a
day, for a large one that seats 80, 10 tables. I believe those are the costs. Cars entering the park still need to pay the $8 per vehicle fee up to eight people per vehicle. You can also visit their website.
It is ok but you need to be really careful. Somewhere near the light house the current is very strong and it is pulling you away from the shore. I would recommend just staying near the shore and dont go beyond where you can stand stably on your feet just in case when current suddenly becomes faster than your maximum swim speed.
It would be better if they went to see if the place is appropriate for the ceremony and the administration is there in the park where they can inform you if they have that option. The place is binito
Little boy can fish just at many bridges the have there is 8 spots #4 its the only one that have shade so take him early in the morning dont forget the sun block good luck have fun
In December park closed at 5 PM. We left after sunset around 5:45 with many cars still on the parking lot. Entrance gate was closed but exit was opened. If you stay longer than park rangers will ask you to leave
Best bet is to check the website, but I agree with Jose, probably closed until the storm completely passes us, which could take the better part of the day today.
$8 per car, entering the park. If you are only 1 person in the car, it's $4. Parking is free once you've paid to get in, so for Miami, it's a heck of a deal.
Beach was open and just gorgeous yesterday! Not crowded where we were, other beach goers in small family groups 2-4 people max, and about 30 ft distance between groups.
If you go to the park website, there is a section in red print at the top that provides notice of any closures. So if you're planning to visit on Fri, I would check the website Thurs night and again Fri morning to make sure it's open before you head out. Have a wonderful visit - this is a gorgeous gem of a beach, and we're SO lucky to have it open for us during this stressful time. Be safe! 😷
