Nice trail walk with a great view at the end as your reward. Sunny with some shade! Water a good idea!

Go through the Rickenbacker Causeway toll gantry. Continue driving for about 5 miles. The entrance to the North Beach parking lot will be on your left. Parking is $5 on weekdays and $7 on weekends. You can pay at the meter, by phone, or online. You will have to walk one mile to the reef. Stop in the Biscayne Nature Center at the far end of the parking lot for directions. Also, it's a protected natural area. You can view it from the boardwalk, but you can't enter it unless you are participating in a tour or beach clean-up with a park naturalist.
Might be a mile long walk from the parking lot
