You pay $2.75 for toll to enter causeway them depending where you go pay for parking at Virginia Key or if you choose to go all the way to their Light House ( Crandon Park ) to the State park you pay for entering I think about $8.00 per car. This beach has been rated one of the best in the world . I highly recommend going up the light tower for a birds eye view of them beach and then rest of the key looking south. You should be able to see Soldier key from this point. Enjoy!
