Idk if it's the time of the year but, this beach is disgusting. There's a few feet of mud like egg smelling rotting seaweed with trash you'd have to trudge through before the water. There was no way I would go in. The stench was unbearable. We had to leave. The parking is non-refundable. I do not remember this beach being like this year's ago but, the horrible reputation it has now is for a reason. Save yourself the disappointment.

Great beach... quiet and not crowded. Easy to space apart. Water is clean and clear and you can walk out pretty far before it gets deep.

On this entrance there is a nature park that was very nice to walk with the kids and see some wildlife, although the grounds and facilities need restoring, seems abandoned. The beach was packed and even though seemed that social distancing was being respected I didn't feel comfortable pitching my canopy and being there with the family so I left. Overall it wasn't a bad day, we enjoyed the scenic drive around Key Biscayne and the walk on the Crandon Nature Park. Here are some pics...
