BEST ADVICE: Call Kootensi Animal Hospital. They are Great People with a long list of Experience! A question like this should Actually be answered by a Professional! As someone stated in a Previous Answer, Yes pets have died onboard airlines from Improper Handling of the pet being on the flight. Make Sure to Ask the Airline Detailed Questions regarding the Safety of your pet onboard the flight! Do Not just let a Stewardess take your pet not knowing where it's going to be housed! Be fully Aware of Everything if your pet can not sit with you!!! Just my 2 cents from flying all around the world & Personally Seen Many a Delema for pets being transported! Also, there are Different Rules flying Overseas & Out of Country! There is usually a quarantine. To make sure the pet does not bring any diseases or take anything along! Good Luck & Call Kootenai Animal Hospital You'll be fully advised on everything! Jerry Deitz 😀
At a vets advice, i gave my puppy a very small child's dose of Benadryl. It helps them stay calm. I carried her in a carrier bag. But they made me put her under the seat rather than in my lap. That was hard, but we made it from Tucson to Spokane safely
I agree
Call them directly, they're good about answering your questions.
You are asking the community. Try calling the Vets office.
Why don't any of you ever actually call these places and ask. They are not Wal-Mart for pets and I believe anyone taking a puppy on a plane is a horrible idea. Aside from the last 2 weeks 4 dogs have died in flight. And 2 were taken to the wrong country. HORRIBLE IDEA.
