The mountain view office on shore land drive should be able 2 answer your questions. You can walkin mon Tues Thursdays. Friday 9-5 except they close at noon all wednesdays.
You need to go to the Social Security office and ask. If you know of an attorney you might ask what the laws are. I use Mills Law Clinic at Stanford University (they specialize in SSI disability stuff) if they can't help they might know who can.
