Easy access, nice people. Lab needs numeric waiting system because sometimes waiting to sign in is a long line. Also desperately needs dedicated person(s) handling signings (don't assign them extra tasks like switchboard!). Once signed in, things go quickly. Needs dependable supply of drinks (e.g.,apple juice, water) available for after blood draws. Needs to poll/survey all patients to implement process of monitoring/grading/improving phlebotomists, because their quality and associated pain varies widely.

There are some people who are really good at their jobs, but there are some people who aren't. I've been given the wrong tests to take home and shuffled between techs because they didn't want to handle a kid. Front end staff are a little curt. Sometimes line can get long. They have successfully gotten blood from my kid (2yo and again at 4yo) without much drama and no trauma.
