A place of tranquility and pure peace. Located in the heart of downtown Mountain View, East West is a lovely bookstore with unique antiques and crystals that can be added to dreamcatchers and work of art. Many books of self care and psychology and crafting pieces unique to the shop. A meditation area can be found toward the back and is a place of relaxation and taking time away from the hustle of life's expectations. Highly recommend.

came in with my friends a few days ago, old white lady behind the register told us we had to give her our phone numbers, names, school ids. one of my friends volunteered and ended up giving her name, number, and school id. as a kid, being told by an adult that you have to do it, we did obviously complied. we shopped, checked out, and left. we didn’t think much of it until my sister and a group of friends visited later that day. i got a call from my sister saying that eastwest was racially profiling teens and taking information. in her friend group, the white ladies behind the cage register took only the “important” information of the two bipoc people and stressed that the other white people didn’t need to give information. they’ve taken away the policy, but after reading the other reviews of other people experiencing similar things, i think everyone should be aware of what has gone on in this store. i find it disgusting that in a spiritual and new age store, this is the way they are treating people because that is not what spiritual people, magickal practitioners, etc. stand for. i’m torn as to whether i should return after this incident. if you don’t want to support a racist business, don’t buy from there. (id also like to say, the review responses to other similar reviews sound really inconsiderate)

To the owner of the business: I was very much hoping that this specific crystal retail store would be my favorite and future energy contact. What an absolute disappointment and utter deceit!! Diane offered me a gift box for a much needed crystalized necklace to give to an ailing extended family member. Why on earth would you not respectfully and morally tell me that you actually charge $0.10¢ for a gift box during my transaction? Are you that clueless about business conduct? I discovered the charge long after the purchase. If I had been properly informed, I probably would have declined it. Thank you so much for your betrayal and theft. I will not return.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Each time I visit, I definitely find something that makes my soul smile which is the reason why I keep on coming back. So many cute little things from crystals to earrings to books to pens just SO MUCH! I just love the calm and serene vibe of this place too! Definitely one of my most favorite places ever ❤️

Almost certainly
Only by pre arrangement
They have small amounts of sage, sage spray and copal incense but dragons blood I dont recall. There are plenty of crystals but they can be pricey. I usually get rare or hard to find crystals from here. Sonds like you need a practioner of a tradition you are comfortable with to help you. This place is not like a botanica its more metaphysical plus books and cds and a variety of things. Although any practioner coud find items in this store usable. Vist the store and if not crowded ask if they know reputable practioners. They also have many books for self help.
They have had them every time I have ever been there, but if you are clearing your space you'd really be better off picking some local salvia yourself, drying it and using that. There are many species of salvia indigenous to the Bay Area that can be found on most hiking trails.
