We found a very people-friendly dog that my kids want to keep for awhile but she digs too much and chewing on our slippers and shoes often. How or where can we drop off or take to?

You don't want the precious pup because he/she does what dogs do and chews and/or digs? You do realize how absolutley awful that is, right? It would probably be best to for you to not own any animals, ever. Best of luck to the pup! πŸΆπŸ•πŸΎ

Take her to obedience classes at Pet Smart. Don't sentence her to die because you don't want to give her a chance.

The dog is not yours/you found it; take dog to Bradshaw for drop off, they will find out if dog is chipped. Good luck

Take it here at the bradshaw Sacramento county animal shelter

Any local veterinarian can scan the dog for a chip. You should post Flyers in the area and which the dog found you. I believe there is a 30-day hold before you can actually adopt a dog that you have found. If you decide to turn the dog into a shelter, if you are in the city, you would take the dog to Front Street Animal Shelter. If you are in the county you would take the dog to Bradshaw Animal Shelter.
