My cat has been missing for over two weeks now. He is micro chipped, but I'm curious if a microchip can be missed? I adopted him from this shelter. Thank you, I am missing him terribly.

My dog was chipped and had a collar on with his name and my number the people that called me told me that they brought him to the shelter when I went down there they said he was not there so the next day I called the people they said I even sent it took a picture of him in front of the shelter so I went down there again and they told me they did not have him the third day I went down there and told him I wanted to see the dogs the very first kennel was my dog with his collar still on they never called me so you need to go down there and check for yourself

Have you contacted the shelter just maybe. The pick up their web site a has a new app. Where you send a photo in and your cat is there it will match straight away. Also if Bradshaw have any idea where the was found cats sometimes go back to where lived cats don't like change so when get your back spend as much time with him or her they will adapt eventually

Not that I'm aware of. As far as I know the chips are reliable.
