When an animal is brought to the shelter, and you find they're chipped, after leaving word that their pet is at your shelter, how long will you keep the animal and how many times do you try contacting or leave messages for the contact person???

By law there is a 10-day hold for animals that are chipped. I’m not sure how many times they try to contact the owners during that waiting period. You can call 311 and ask.

Does anyone one know if there is a free clinic to have a 5 week old kitten checked out its eye's are irritated
