My dog was @ Bradshaw n cuz she was a pit bull, she was transferred to SPCA. I finally found out where she was n called them. I gave them my phone # n my boyfriend's phone # AND told them I'd be down there on Wednesday AND that I did have the $300 n some to get her out. The SPCA adopted her out the next day. We didn't know til we WALKED down there on the Wednesday B4 Christmas to get her. They wouldnt tell us where she went n I have been broken hearted for the last year. She was 9 yrs old n we'd had her since she was a puppy. I loved her with all my heart n i think of her morning, noon n night. Good luck & don't let them bamboozle you. Keep fighting for your sweetheart.

Your going to have to go down there. Thats what i had to do. How long was your dog gone? Dont waste time. There are so many animals there and its ran by volunteers so be proactive time is of the essence. Hope this helps.

You have to go down there. It's a mandatory 3 day hold (I believe to make sure they don't have rabies) then if he's released you have to pay a fine. Best of luck.

Go to shelter. Bring proof and yes, dog who bite are subject to a hold.

Agreed....go into the shelter and explain your situation they should have some answers for you

Go into the shelter that's my advice. They have to report all dog bites, that's the California State Law.
