The Teahouse does not serve tea at this time, and is closed for repair from the flood in 2017. We have heard the City is planning to re-open the Teahouse in 2020 at that time. You can join the Friends of San Jose Japanese Friendship Garden facebook page for updates of events and repair status as we receive from the City. The Garden is open on its regular park schedule as posted by the City on their website, and entrance is free.

Yes,they have a tea house but i believe it is only open seasonly as it was closed when we visited recently.
They have a small snack and drink place, I do believe they serve tea there!
