So much to see and explore! We’ve been here twice. Once when my oldest was a toddler and twins were crawling. And this second time my son is older and twins are preschoolers. And with these trips I noticed that this museum is best for younger kids 7 and under, but the older kids can still find something to enjoy. The baby crawl area on the second floor is my favorite! I was able to let my babies crawl around and explore in a safe space. The outdoor backyard is a lot of fun too, my kids were excited about the garden and the strawberries that were growing in it. Each area is a ton of fun and there are so many learning opportunities to be had with your kids here. I like to sit back and let them play in each area for a while. Bring water and snacks! There is no food court probably because of COVID, but there are water bottle refill stations. I saw lots of shirtless kids because they got too wet in the water play area lol so an extra set of clothes is a good idea.

Great place for kids 1-12 years old. You can do the whole place in 2.5 hours. No food available. Bring a waterproof apron for the water play area. No strollers allowed unless child isn't walking but even then u can't park it inside the building for any amount of time.

What an amazing place. Absolutely perfect place to spend a few hours with an active 21-month toddler. Lots of variety, activities outside, WATER!!!, air currents, activities, building, learning! We did wait for the bathroom for about 15 minutes - they could definitely use more changing bathrooms. It wasn't until later that we found a bathroom upstairs, but only men/women.

This place was great to take a child who’s full of wonder and energy! It’s pretty interesting and fun to check out. I want to point out that they do not allow strollers but I can’t remember if they provide them but I know the website says something to warn you, so I would read it closely. It’s a great learning experience for kids and adults as the info provided is helpful along with the history of various things we use on our daily lives. It’s a place you have to try at least once with your kids just for enrichment purposes if nothing else. It’s not Disneyland but it’s a must see staple of childhood for well rounded growing up experience. Gotta love San Jose!

Yes. We brought our own food & others did, too. There's a nice outdoor eating area, & indoor one also. Just no food/drinks in exhibit & play areas.
Yes you both would love this place
Yes, at 11:00am.
But no reciprocal with Curiodyssey
No
$15 for children and adults. Seniors is $14
My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed it as soon as she was able to walk, and each exhibit has elements for a range of ages, probably from 1-9 years old.
Pretty much all ages! Our 1yo and 3yo both had a blast but we saw children of all ages in there having fun!
He will have fun at play and learn whilst playing. Fun for you too. Each area has stuff for different ages.
You have to pay for admission, if you want to leave you can get a hand stamp to go back in.
There's an area in the center of the museum right now where they have these big blue foam blocks, various sizes. It's a lot of fun for kids in general and it would be fun for a 19-month-old because they can crawl, explore and learn and they are light weight foam so they're safe and not hard.
You are thinking of The Tech, also in San Jose.
$ 15 per person if I remember correctly
Not at this time
The backyard is open Friday, Saturday & Sunday. There are two play sessions 10am to 1230pm & 130 PM to 4pm. Reservations required.
Adults (18-59 years) – $15 Child (1-17 years) – $15 Senior (60+ years) – $14 Infant (under 1 year) – Free
I don't think it does. It is funded by donors, mostly the Bay Area tech companies and private donors.
No, but they do give discounts or coupons for the parking. You have to ask for it they won't just give it to you
I believe you cant use that happy hollow pass, but it should be a discount if you can use a pass
$15 for a whole day i think, but they will give discount if they are about to close ($8 one hour before close for a parent and a kid, it depends)
I think you'd get a quicker answer by calling and asking.
Something special
