This is not accurate at the moment - this comment made me waste my time driving out there. You can not 'show up' without an appointment for a name change at this location. I called the office and spoke with a woman that advised I need to drop off the completed application and copy of my marriage certificate in an envelope via the office drop box. Nothing else needed. Updated SS Card and certificate will be mailed back to me.
