I am planning to visit this September. I read a review that mentioned only a few gardens/areas are open. Is it still worth going, or should I wait?

Don't wait, plenty of things to enjoy. You wouldn't finish it in a single day. I visited it for a day during the pandemic and realized that I couldn't see it in one day then decided to get the annual pass. After multiple visits, I haven't seen everything yet.

If you're going for the lovely gardens, then go for sure. If your interest is in the museums/library, don't go as only a very small portion is currently open. I go for the gardens and was there Thursday. Love it. Also saw the few limited pieces in one of the galleries. Had a great lunch there as well.

Definitely go. Most of what was closed was the galleries, the gardens are worth it alone

It's definitely worth going. Only a couple of things closed (indoor stuff). The best things to see are all the outdoor things.

All outdoor gardens are open and you cannot finish them in one day even you get in the morning.

wait .. 100%

Currently, all the outdoor gardens and restaurants are open. The indoor areas including artwork galleries aren't open yet due to COVID. You couldn't walk all the other gardens in a full day anyhow. Enjoy!

It is best to wait until the entire complex including the restaurants opens
