During October it's hard to find parking get there very early there is public parking but they fill up fast
There is a public parking garage a block or so away by the Peabody Essex Museum that is only $1.50 per hour

You can take the ferry in but not after today it's closed the best way to get there is Uber
Parking is impossible on the weekend and traffic is bad, during the week it's much easier. We stayed in a hotel and called an Uber, so much easier and you can drink until your heart's content, cheers!

This is also one of the very few places that has on site parking we parked right at the site with no issues
