Employees and management completely ruin this place for me. They will not greet you or even talk to/look at you while you are checking out if you aren’t a white man. They don’t even try to be subtle about their misogyny and judgement. I have never once been spoken to there, I am ignored when I try to have friendly conversation at the counter, only to see them engage in conversation that every man that comes in their doors. It’s not a coincidence. Other reviews here have disclosed predatory behavior by the staff as well and I truly do not doubt that for a second. As much as I love it here because if the variety I will not be going anymore, I do not feel comfortable giving them my business.

Awesome experience for Pokémon purchase. Nice selection of single cards to choose from. Ethan was super helpful and knowledgeable. He looked through my son’s wishlist and was able to quickly pull out all the cards they had available. Definitely would recommend this shop and Ethan too!

Great store. It has everything you could ever want in a comic book shop. Comics, cheap comics, expensive comics, trades, toys, posters, statues etc. It's so huge. If I had been less anxious I would have def stayed at least 2 hours. My only real complaint is that when we were checking out, we were helped by the nicest young lady in a Metallica shirt. She was so dooope. I wanted a statue and she took me to get it. When we got back to the counter, she was immediately harangued by a colleague who was needlessly sharp and rude about a minor quibble for their recordkeeping. I feel like that isn't a conversation to have in front of a customer. The employee doing the haranguing was much more taciturn to us as well. I love the store, but that is just not needed. Other than that, terrific place and I will be back the next time we are in Salem!

I’ve been going to Harrison’s for over a year and can honestly say it’s one of my favorite places to buy and sell Pokémon. The owner, Larry, prices his trading cards fairly and gives top dollar for card trade ins. The entire staff is friendly and continues to welcome all who come regardless if you are a regular or it’s your first time. They have the best selection imaginable for trading cards, comics and other collectibles.
