Built in 1805, and being a history enthusiast myself, this building is widely recognized as one of the most iconic Federal buildings in the United States. If you're in the Salem area this is definitely a place worth stopping by!

I attended a wedding at this historic location. The building itself is very nice. The park across the street just adds to ambiance making it just lovely. The one drawback is a lack of central air and/or air conditioning. A number of the attendees made notice of hot it was even with all of the windows open on the second floor. Only negative to the place, otherwise it was wonderful.

Beautiful event venue. Quaint rooms. Wonderful service including working with you to call when room is ready since took red-eye and exhausted. Easy to change reservations for stay. Great restaurants with great food. Enjoyed breakfast in the main dining area and cheese plate and salads and light bites in the tavern. Try the watermelon salad in the tavern! Great cozy arm chair seating. The Grand ball room is an elegant venue for event especially wedding reception and second floor great area for gathering for cocktails and appetizers. The food is exquisite, very tasty, and very elegant. Lobster bisque is incredible. The oyster bar is incredible. Highly recommend this hotel and ask it's restaurants and venue for events. Great location to walk everywhere around Salem.

What a great historical site. I'm a big fan of History and always like to learn new and interesting facts about the places I visit. This is an easily accessible and interesting place to go. If you are Keen to know more about the locations around you or are visiting Hamilton Hall is a place you will not want to miss. I highly suggested as it is a quick view of interesting time in history. Anytime, and any season are great to visit but as it is indoors going in colder months is always best.

Majority of street paring is restricted to residents. Good luck.
Unfortunately, our historic building is not currently wheelchair accessible.
150 is accurate for main floor.... however there are three floors that spreads the event out.
They are also listed on their website.
