Witch History Museum

Not worth the visit. Really nothing to see. Introduction to the history of the witch trials is somewhat interesting but very dated. The second half where you go into the museum is more of the same and we left at that point. Skip this and take a stroll around Salem to see the real history.

I just have to say that the Witch History Museum was very entertaining and informative! This museum was part of a three pack deal between this museum, the Witch Dungeon Museum, and the New England Pirate Museum. I would highly recommend getting the 3 museum deal because it saves you 8 dollars. The 2 witch museums are kind of repetitive; but they compliment each other nicely and really complete the whole story. It's really sad learning about the hysteria that took place in Salem, but it's also enlightening in that this historical information will hopefully prevent us, as a society, from ever falling into this pit again.

Sadly the worst guided tour you will go on, our experience was bad due to our guid who was more worried about children in the group than telling us historic fact. I don’t believe that it should be called a “History Museum.” Bummed out

Our tour guide was likely on drugs, swore with every sentence, and couldnt remember half of what she was supposed to explain. She ruined the tour for us, we didn't learn anything. Not a worthwhile stop, especially if you have children.
