This was the best historic home tour I have ever been on. The tour guide was amazing! Be sure not to miss the carriage house at the end.

What a wonderful experience! Our guide today - I feel bad that I don't remember his name - was extremely knowledgeable and quite entertaining. I was not sure what to expect, but it turned out to be a very fascinating tour. The "garage", with original carriages and antique cars, it's probably the most stunning section of the tour. And learning about the history of the house and of the families who lived there was particularly interesting. I recommend it to anyone who is visiting Salem and might be sick and tired of hearing about witches :) :) eheh

Beautiful mansion, with great historical treasures. My kids loved their history class there!

This was a great tour. The guide was very informative of the family. Walking through, hearing the stories gave you a real sense of who this family was. The house was beautifully kept and decorated. During the summer months the garage is open and you get to see the old cars in there.

In 2019, our rates are $10 adults, $9 seniors, and $5 for students and children (children under 5 are free). Admission includes a 45 minute guided tour and self-guided tour of the carriage house with antique carriages and vehicles.
Very reasonable. As I recall, it's only about $7 for adults. Less for Historic Salem members. On special occasions, admission is free.
