Really cool old historical home with lots of items and artifacts from the time of the witch trials. Definitely worth the visit!

This was our second visit to The Witch House. The first was several years ago. It is very spooky there, but my husband and I loved it.

Standing in front of this house almost seems otherworldly with all the more and stories surrounding the it. This was the home of the Judge that oversaw the witch trials themselves. The decisions made to hang and press witches and their family members came from this house. Unreal. This is why we RV, to see stuff like this!

This is a quick tour place. You need to prepurchase tickets online. It is the home of one of the judges of the Salem Witch Trials, who was a wealthy merchant as well as a judge. It is possible many of the accusations against witches were recorded in this house. It shows how the wealthy of that time period would've lived. No pics are allowed inside, and the staff lady that lets you in was very rude about this. I was touring with my family, and my cousin had to take an emergency call regarding her daughter & the last became very snarky with her about stepping outside & almost didn't let her back in when my cousin was finished. She only lightened up when we asked a historical question. You are also expected to finish going through, read all the signs, & view everything in 15 minutes. It's 2 rooms downstairs, 2 upstairs, then you exit through the small gift shop. I would've liked to have been able to take a little more time to read the various signs, but it was too rushed for that.

Yes. Unfortunately we didn't know that until we got there so no tour for us.
Yes I believe 19 women 1 man crushed. All at the hands of 2 kids that claimed they had dreams about them.
Adriatic restaurant, the Witch house, but you have to get there before 5. The town pretty much closes at five
If you don't want to pay, you can still go into the house, the gift shop is part of the house where you can check it out. See pictures on Google for the rest of it.
Umm, what?
Go to the house, scan the code, purchase tickets, you can often get in right away.
Go to the museum, scan the code, buy the tickets and get in line. We were able to buy our tickets at the door, got checked in and went in for the presentation in a few minutes.
No we paid at the door the day we went there.
During October it's hard to find parking get there very early there is public parking but they fill up fast
I would say the sooner the better. Because of what's going on with Covid, that's the best way to go.
I don't believe so, only service animals.
Yes it is open in December. You must go on the website thewitchhouse.org to purchase your tickets.
No
Most parking I noticed would not accommodate an RV. However, there is a parking garage in town. Check the City of Salem website
I believe it is. $13 for non state citizens, free for locals
I don't know cause when I reach in the week 6:00 was closed
Where thorn sally McKnight and dusk and luna please find please
With little kids I would do the witch museum. I think there is more to keep younger kids interested. But my teenager loved the witch house.
They are open from 10 to 5 every day
Yes it's a museum with very interesting facts. You can't rent it out.
All.of the museums in the area are focused on the historical aspect of the Salem Witch Trials. They are honest in what the history is but, it isnt presented in a manner that is scary. It is pretty much a textbook lesson
When I did the tour I don't remember them ever saying that it was actually haunted.
Just tour the house after paying the fee. Walking about the city to the different sites is a enjoyment in itself.
It is easiest to find a public parking lot or garage and walk to the items downtown. If you follow the red painted line around town it will take you to all the major sites.
