Is he large? Does he bark a lot? History of aggression? Cuz the only time they'll take in dogs at Pinellas hope, i believe, is if the owner has something similar to severe anxiety, and a doctor basically writes a prescription that the person require this pet to help keep the owners anxiety in check. There's quite a few ppl with small dogs that are extremely friendly & well trained, but in my time there i never saw so much as a dog that wasn't just 'tiny', for the most part. Good luck.
