They will give you a police officer's phone number and when you call him you explain it to him and he will run you and everything will be fine if you have no warrants or certain criminal background
You have to call on a Fri morning and they will schedule to pick you up the following Tuesday. I'm not sure about an ID, but you can ask them when you call.
