I changed my name in March 8, 2018 at the social security office in Brea, but they never forwarded the info to the MediCal office. I have my new name on my card but they still haven't forwarded to MediCal. How long will they need to change my file ?

I finally did the same and it took 5 minutes was free a 90+ minute wait on hold. Now I am who I really am.

From my experience with this, you have to call the Medi-cal office and request a name change. I waited for a couple months, and then was told it was my responsibility to call, so I did. Hope this helps
