My kids were born here in USA. Registered in the Ecuadorian Consulate I am from Ecuador, so they are considered Ecuadorian by birth. No big deal. Yes they do have dual citizenship and corresponding passports

If you want your daughter to have dual nationality, you should consult them, they should not tell you why. The best country is where one is born and owns the soil by nature, or or travel to Ecuador and get Ecuadorian citizenship there
