Este sitio representa a Nicaragua en la peor manera posible, very unprofessional, they are not helpful at all and are very rude. I had to give the a star in order to post.

I called the Consulate because, as a teacher of Spanish, teaching about different Spanish speaking countries is important. There is so much history and culture they can learn about them that, having it first hand, can be very productive. When I called the Consulate, they told me they were on to supply some maps, touristic tours, and more. They told me to come over today and pick it, which was perfect because of their location and parking places around. Finally, they welcomed me very nicely and brought maps, calendars, pens, amongst others, that I can include in class and even give to the students. I do not have a name to personally thank but the one who was at the windows, I believe I talked to him on the phone the first time.

We lost a TON of money for a very expensive trip to Cancun because he "FORGOT" to send a paper to Nicaragua Consulate. Wouldn't answer calls, texts or emails and months later he decided to tell us a week before our trip he just found the paper. The only reason we found that out was because we called Nicaragua directly. Smh. The whole experience makes me sick. Very unprofessional. Can't believe the US allows this bs.

The clerk that helped me was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The times I've been here I have never been properly helped, their answers for everything is always "can't help". The employees are extremely arrogant. And to know that as Nicaraguen we have no other option but to go here if we ever have any needs.

Very true That is very true in bes that we dance forward vsmis for, atra like the cancrejo
They are unfortunate toads
That is very true I also want to renew my passport but as I do not have a license I can not renew it
if I can do it by mail. call the consulate to send you the information
No. It is NOT possible, they only give you the consular card at no cost the first time. But you must carry either your Nicaraguan identity card even if it is expired or your valid birth certificate.
Go to the Nicaraguan Consury is in Los Angeles Cal Wilsher and Kisley
Unfortunately we are a country without any preparation and any nephew, cousin or relative or something related to the government, even without having a knowledge is in that position, we are a third world nation in terms of knowledge and not wealth, hopefully in a future occupy those positions people prepared with even a little kindness
Well, I take them good because I have already been processing my passport for 4 months and it is the time I did not come and call and the only thing they told me was that they cannot do anything as it is possible that they are sending applications and they do not rush them so that those who have more than 3 months send I do not understand
8-12 weeks
They do not respond only visit personally. That's what happened to me but I went and they treated me very well
He attended us today without an appointment
Si estás en los estados unidos tienes que ir a el consulado más cercano 4 fotos certificado de nacimiento y la cédula ellos te la envían a la dirección donde estas en los estados unidos.
If you have to bring 4 passport-size photos with a white background 2 copies of the identity card and the original 2 copies of the departure and the original 60 dollars to pay and be early they serve you kindly if you are kind and respectful if you arrive in a hurry and arrogant better not even Fences many people arrive like this and complain because they come in and want to be served there just according to the list they serve you.
50 dollars is the cost of the passport
No nesesitas Cita puedes llegar de lunes a viernes de 9 am a 12 meridiano
For a passport, you need 4 passport-size photos, the photos must be without glasses, hair tied back where you can see your forehead and ears, and light-colored shirts, 2 copies of ID, 2 copies of residence, if you have an old passport, 2 copies if you are married, certificate of marriage and two copies and a valid birth certificate and two copies and it costs $50 USD, I hope it helps in something🙏
$50 in the US, $60 if declared lost
You have to go in person, they open from 9 am to 1 pm so that you don't arrive for nothing, take all your documents
If tomorrow is the last day why? They're going on holidays
Well, they received me very well, and they gave me a sheet of paper that is the requirements for passport renewal.
They don't renew it anymore
They make you a receipt for 50 and in the end they ask you for 60 the total.
Well, I would not recommend the consulate in Nicaragua because they are very terrible, they do not have education instead of being in front of the door and they do not answer the phone they say you have to make an appointment and I do not know how to make an appointment because the phone never answers it I have a bad experience with the Nicaraguan Consulate
i live in las vegas i can't go and they only serve by appointment anyway.
Drop by one with 4 photos ID 2 copies of your birth certificate and if you have the old passport photocopy it ID photocopy everything and say that you have tried to make an appointment and that whenever you call the bus is full and that you come from afar driving And do not let Camilo fool you at first, he is badly faced mae, but afterwards, calm down
Two months and $50 bucks cash
I advise you to call that one at 9 in the morning ... I did that ... since it happened to me.
You have to call before 3:00 PM for an appointment
From my experience, I can tell you that the phone dialed, rang, a long message rang and, after a few moments of silence, they took the call. So let him follow the message to the end and don't drop the call. I did that and they took care of me.
Yes you need to go to the consulate. Original ID and extended photocopy, original birth certificate and photocopy, and original expired passport and photocopy of the biodata are required. It costs 50 Usd and it comes between 8-12 weeks.
First time 60 usd. Renewal 50 usd. Takes 8-12 weeks to get
I think $ 50
The marriage certificate and birth certificate and a photo ID.
It's 8 weeks for me to go out but I left for 5 weeks.
Don't need appointment...
Enrollment is no longer given and it is only in Nicaragua that you can get your passport here
60 dollars and if it takes I wait for it and I have been asking you for 8 weeks for an original departure and 2 large copies of proof of address. Consular registration if you have it. And 2 passport size photos.
50 dollars. And the requirements are not much what they ask for.
It's kind of hit and miss calling the consulate. For my passport I needed a birth certificate from Nicaragua, and an ID; if you don't have a cedula, you can use a green card or US passport. They won't accept a CA driver's license for an ID. Make two color copies of your birth certificate and ID. You'll also need 4 passport sized photo. This is what I did getting my passport for the first time. Also your birth certificate must be less than 8 years old.
Updated birth certificate, 4 passport-size photos and be very patient with the inept people who work there because they constantly change their minds
They always answer me when I call. Call in the morning, that helps.
Those guys never answer
And what if I traveled with my husband but he is a US citizen? do I need permission for him?
Busy murdering compatriots!
Do you have a California ID? First you must change the last name on your ID that you can do with your marriage certificate,
I'm using my application on January. I already got him or her passport? I hope you do not delay anymore. I already have 5 weeks to wait.
The consulate of Nicaragua in Los Angeles is a pack of ignorant people who do not help.
You need a visa but you can get one in as soon you arrive to Nicaragua airpor
No, they never answer.
