I'm not sure what you mean. There are homeless all around it and the surrounding area and some inside it. As to what is going on well the entire area is like this
There are definitely homeless people living in the wildlife reserve. I get that they have to sleep somewhere. HOWEVER this is not the answer! Looks like the City of Los Angeles has largely ignored problem, until the encampment get so big, they have to bring in a bulldozer to clear it out. There's a large space in the middle of reserve that was destroyed all that remains is left over garbage smashed in the dirt like a landfill. Is this the best we can do to protect the wildlife this area was designated for? Absolutely Not! People need to step up and speak up. How? Go to LACITY.ORG - meet you government. Don't make lame excuses like "I'm too busy" or "someone else will do it" there is strength in numbers. It's not like people are going there at night just to camp responsibly The garbage they bring in is toxic to what little wildlife is left. If you care at all... do something.
