Surprised by how easy and quick this was. You arrive and check in and get a number. There are three window agents and they call numbers in the order you arrive. When I got there on a Tuesday at 3:30pm, I was the next person in line. It took about 30 minutes total for me to wait to be called and file my paperwork. I can see how it would take a lot longer if there were 10-30 people ahead of me.

This location is only for state DISABILITY (SDI) only. Surprised at the speed and helpfulness of the employees. Only waited 50 minutes aprox., before i was called up to the window. Recommend having all paperwork you might need and/or have already turned in. They even make copies of your needed paperwork. There is no reason to disrespect and scream at these employees. All they do is explain and help you understand your case.The security guard lady can be impatient at times.Parking is hectic and expensive, near this office. Keep up the great work ladies and gentlemen.

Yes. Get there early, first come first serve. They open area up before office hours so you sign in and take a seat.
It is EDD for state Disability. You have to Google for the actual physical EDD office. I thought I saw one near Inglewood.
Yes , there are applications you can get. There is parking $12 all day , get there early like 6am sign in at security desk that form says EDD suite 500 , the security guard that opens the doors to that office arrives at 7:30 and hands out # tickets with a form that indicates your purpose. They will not allow you in past 3pm . That is the last ticket handed out, ✌
You can easily get it online. I would recommend applying for your disability benefits online. Online claims can be found faster than paper forms.
Yes problems all the way around. Can't through 800 number impossible. I had to physically go in to the office in Van Nuys california. There problem is with my H.R. at work. They are being very difficult, I'm behind on my bills as well. Frustrated and stressed.
I couldn't get through but went to the office and it was empty no wait time at all..super efficient
As long as you get a doctor to sign off on it you should be good to go.
