I heard you were going to allow dogs in Your park...can I bring my dog yet? If not do you know when?? Thanks

Dogs are allowed in the park just not on the trails. I've seen people camping with their dogs.

Dogs have been permitted on select trails throughout the campground! Stop by the park for a dog trail map!

I believe the trails are Acorn Alley, Bobcat Way, Soaring Kestrel and Racoon Ridge. I'd check with visitor center or gate staff.

There are specific trails that allow dogs. And it's on a trial period. Ask at the gate check in and they'll give you a map and a poop bag.

This year the park opened up a few miles of trails on an experimental basis.
